Lead with Purpose

At RCA, our mission goes beyond academics—we strive to equip our students with the confidence to know who they are and the courage to stand firm in their faith as they step into high school and beyond. As part of this mission, our Grade 8 students embark on a powerful journey of self-discovery, leadership, and spiritual growth.

In the months leading up to graduation, students connect with RCA alumni to gain real-life insight into the transition to high school. They also participate in the Relationship Compass Program, which helps them navigate friendships, identity, and decision-making with wisdom and intention.

The capstone of their RCA experience is the unforgettable Grade 8 trip to the Student Leadership University (SLU) in Florida—an immersive, four-day leadership training program hailed as the nation’s premiere Christian leadership experience for youth. Through 22 hours of hands-on learning, students are challenged and inspired to become bold, Christ-centered leaders in an ever-changing world.

This life-changing trip is more than just a destination—it’s a launching point. Our students take ownership of the experience by actively fundraising throughout the year, with proceeds from our monthly RCA Tuck Shop supporting the journey.

By the time they walk across the stage at graduation, our Grade 8s are not just ready for high school—they're ready to lead with integrity, faith, and purpose.
